Few predicted the events of the past year.
Mark sets out to find what the future has in store for us by asking the audience what their predictions for the future are, creating a fantastical, hilarious and sometimes accurate vision of the world.
This show is all about gambling on the future.
Based along the lines of his 2011 show ‘Manifesto’ Mark takes suggestions from the audience to create a snapshot of the future.
Paid my £1 to gamble on the future for the most popular contribution from the audience at The Troublemakers Festival in Swansea.
I feel my contribution of the unknown, unheard of places such as my own, where it is known as G.C.G. to become the hip place to say you have visited will go by the wayside.
How I laughed when my next door neighbours got a namecheck, as the topic mentioned is the conversation I am actually having with them at present.
It was a rewarding way to spend the evening in the presence of Mark Thomas with the engaging audience.
I do wonder if I will return there in four years time and get to see Jack with his new leg and learn more about pairing up when buying a pair of shoes and Swansea manifesting in some shape or form as The Capital of Couture.
